Kaycee and I wanted to switch things up a bit with the format of the podcast. We know life gets busy and really want you to be able to listen and get some quick wins about marketing. We are so excited to do a 3 part mini-series on Story Pins.
We are in all the groups and hear all the chatter about this new feature from Pinterest. They have been around for a few months, and I actually have a blog about them from last year. We felt we needed to talk about them on the podcast. Since new things can be overwhelming at first we broke the topic into 3 easy-to-digest mini episodes just for you!! Grab your fave morning beverage and listen in!
In today’s episode, we’re going over Pinterest Story Pins. You can use these pins to create a story that is pinned on your account. These pins will show up in the Explore tab of your profile, as well as in search results when people look for content related to what you’re pinning about. Story Pins last forever just like all Pinterest Pins.
Kaycee tells us how she feels about them and why she doesn’t feel it can help every type of client or pinner/marketer. Which is so true, depending on your goals of Pinterest they may or may not work for you.
Amy is using Story Pins for her clients and her own account. Story Pins are only able to upload onto Pinterest directly or on the App.
If you use the app, you can add music. This is on iPhone, not on android at the moment.
